Tower dungeons ruined this game.
Its okay. The story is very bland and cliche, and the characters are all kinda sappy and generic. It could have been a decent time-killer as far as JRPGs go...but the terrible dungeons turned this more into a sanity-killer.
The tower dungeons in this game are mazes that force you to track, back-track, and re-track a dozen times over to find keys and unlock doors. There is no dungeon map, so youll often times end up lost or feeling like you missed something. Random battles every ten steps will make you want to scream. If my arm was as long as these dungeons, I could reach across the Pacific Ocean and slap the guy that designed them.
I played through it once to see the story and then promptly deleted it. I didnt even bother to try the bonus dungeon at the end of the game.
